Liasoning with industry and professional bodies for welfare of students is our motto. The department is established to meet the changes and challenges in technological development. Eminent personalities from industries are invited to give an incite on latest technologies that are practiced. Students are encouraged to work on sponsored projects from industries.

A state of art, computing facility along with hardware and software laborataries with internet facility is developed. Students are encouraged to participate in number of technical competetions. Seminars are always arranged on dot technology, open source tools and java technology etc.

Initiatives:

• "Linux operating system installation" and "Open source tools" training program for faculties.
• IBM training programme for faculty on Rational Suite Architecture and Rational Suite Enterprises.
• Computer Society of India Students' chapter.

Future Plans :

• To commence postgraduate courses.

• Research projects with industry.
