Introduction

The transformation of graduates to ready IT Professionals is the main agenda of MCA Programme by reducing the gap between academics and IT industry and expanding their horizons to enable their learning into solutions. The 3 years at MMCOE-MCA supports students in becoming confident individuals to face global IT environment.

The Department provides a supportive environment that encourages students to discover themselves and gain enduring Social and Professional values. The students are imbibed with a perfect blend of computer professional skills, business ethics and societal concerns.

Objectives

• The course is designed to provide professional education and training to meet the growing demand for qualified professionals in the field of Information Technology.
• To prepare students to take up positions as system analysts, systems designers, Programmers and managers in any field related to information technology. The program, therefore, aims at imparting comprehensive knowledge with equal emphasis on theory and practice.
• The MCA students are encouraged to spend a full semester working in the industry in the institute giving them insight into the workings of the IT world. To develop ethical & moral values and appreciation for professional excellence.
• To build strong fundamental base for Information Technology industry
• To inculcate a culture of teamwork and leadership qualities for achieving excellence in every walk of life.
• To create & maintain specialized infrastructure, expertise and environment for education, innovation & research on skill sets required by the global market.
• To attract intellectually potential students, who can develop solution for the benefit of the society through innovation by using contemporary technologies.
