  • Oracle-ERP Training 

A two days training on ORACLE-ERP was conducted for the students in order to equip them with software and technical knowledge and to make them aware of the benefits of ORACLE-ERP.

  • Case Method Teaching and Case Writing

A workshop on Case Method Teaching and Case Writing was organized by Case Research Society of India (CRSI) for the faculties. N. Ravichandran— Professor, IIM Ahmadabad and K. Padmanabhan— Secretary, CRSI were the resource persons for the workshop.

  • Personality Development Workshop

A three days workshop was organised on Presentation Skills by a well known corporate trainer—Mrs. Hyacinth who is a certified corporate trainer. She has an experience of more than 33 years as a corporate trainer and is associated with majority of B-Schools as a faculty in the areas of communication, presentation, team building, interviews etc.

  • Nuances in the Field of Research for Management and Engineering - Practical Approaches of Research & Research Paper Writing

Department of MBA had organized a FDP on “Nuances in the Field of Research for Management and Engineering - Practical Approaches of Research & Research Paper Writing.” The aim of the workshop is to provide an overview of the research and research process, to take the participants through all steps from start of research idea to paper publication in standard International Journals and to give exposure of Interdisciplinary Research. The resource person for the FDP was Dr. Yogesh Patil, Head of Research and Publications, Symbiosis International (Deemed University)

  • Technical Analysis

Workshop on technical analysis was conducted by Mr. Ashish Kelkar. It was a two day work shop. This workshop was delivered by nationally renowned investment & training firm—  Precision Investment Services Pvt. Ltd. This workshop was useful for the students from knowledge as well as placement point of view.

  • Personal Financial Health Clinic

A FDP on Personal Financial Health Clinic was organised for the faculty members of college. The purpose of the FDP was to provide the staff members an insight on effective investment planning and wealth management.

  • Personal Grooming and Excellence in Mentorship

A FDP on Personal Grooming and Excellence in Mentorship was organised with an aim to enable the faculty members to introspect and make a list of correctable initiatives, promises for better change management and focus forward. The resource person for the FDP was a renowned Corporate Trainer — Mrs. Hyacinth Arya, having 28 years of experience in training.

  • Role of a Teacher in Higher Education- Mentoring, Counseling and OtherSkills 

A FDP on Role of a Teacher in Higher Education- Mentoring, Counseling and Other Skills was organised with an aim to enhance and improve the teaching-learning process. The resource person for the FDP was Dr. Pallvi Vadehra— Faculty, IBS Business School.

  • Quantitative Aptitude

Quantitative Aptitude forms a significant place in campus recruitment process. All the major recruiters initiate the campus recruitment process with testing the job aspirants with Quantitative Aptitude Scores. This course aims at developing an excellent foundation in quantitative aptitude through the ancient and timeless Vedic methods. The course was designed and conducted by Mr. Vinay Nair—  founder of the School of Vedic Mathematics, Mumbai.

  • Digital Marketing

A  two day training on ‘Digital Marketing’ was conducted by MBA department. The theme was planned by IIM Calcutta Entrepreneurship Cell and the task was entrusted with Mr. Pranav Nair (IIMC), who has immense experience in the area of Digital Marketing as well as Corporate Training.

  • Financial Modeling

Financial Modeling is the first step towards the analytics. MMCOE students specializing in Finance undergo every year a comprehensive program on Financial Modeling. Objective of the program is to understand how decision making is done in practical applications like investment in corporate or projects. The program focuses on financial analysis. This analysis is then used to build financial model, which in turn is key to projecting future financial performance. Based on this model, investors can arrive at suitable valuation. Through this programme students are prepared for various profiles relating to Investment Banking, Equity Research, Credit Rating, Project Finance, Mergers & Acquisitions.

  • Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)

A workshop on “Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP)” was conducted by Mr. Tejas Toro, a certified trainer with National Federation of Neuro Linguistic Programming (NFNLP) and International Coaching Federation. The five day workshop was beneficial for HR students as it focused on the connection between mind and language and how that connection affects our body and behavior. At the end of five day programme, students were allotted certificates of NFNLP which would definitely give them enormous mileage from placements point of view and also add credibility to their resumes in the long run.

  • Dale Carnegie Training- Effective Sales and Presentation Skills

A Certified Training Programme on ‘Effective Sales and Presentation Skills’ was conducted by Dale Carnegie Training India, a highly recognized Institute world-wide for both Marketing and Finance students. The three day programme built foundation for sales process and equipped them with skills for effective presentation. The participants were exposed to nine modules in all which included ‘Foundation for Consultative Selling’, ‘Generating Interest’, ‘Negotiation skills ‘, ‘Planning Presentations’ and ‘Presenting to Persuade’ etc.
